Inspired by the phrase “nostalgic for someone else’s youth” (author unknown), this series is an attempt to capture the carefree summer spirit and joie de vivre of a group of 20-somethings.

This series started as a way for me to get in touch with the idea of being more spontaneous and impulsive, instead of overthinking situations and overplanning the future. I catapulted myself into this mindset by spending a month and a half studying in Italy, photographing my way through meeting and traveling with people I'd never met before.
