Inspired by the idea of a fun house mirror, the first issue of Warped explores reflection, repetition and distortion through its’ content and design. A fun house mirror surrounds you on all sides, bending and changing your reflection at every angle. It is transformative in the way that it portrays your likeness and in how you observe yourself.

Similarly, the content of this issue is composed of subjects that you might encounter on a daily basis, subjects making big transitions, and subjects looking to incite change. Warped_01 aims to take notice of these characters and transform how you view yourself and the world.

Through the use of transparent paper and a shifting grid structure, the magazine as an object explores these ideas visually and formally.
