This editorial merges dystopia futurism and denim. It takes inspiration from minimalism and the 60’s space age, as well as referencing recent technology, like Sophia the Robot, and science-fiction, especially Westworld. The concept of the Uncanny Valley (the idea that “human replicas that appear almost but not exactly, like real human beings elicit feelings of eeriness and revulsion among some observers”) also served as a starting point to develop a storyline for the shoot.
